How the OZ TV team tests APK files on real Android phones before publishing a download, and what every review checks.
Our reviewer installs each build on a Galaxy A55 (Android 15), a Pixel 8 (Android 16), a Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14), an Infinix Note 40 Pro (Android 14), and a Galaxy A13 (Android 12). Covering new and older hardware shows us how the app behaves for the full range of visitors, not just flagship owners.
The install has to complete cleanly from the exact file offered for download. Core screens are opened, main features are used end to end, and playback or core actions are run long enough to surface crashes, freezes, and battery or heat problems.
We also check that the app matches its description: the version shown in the app info table is the version inside the installed build, and the features described on the page are the features present in the app.
When a new version arrives, it is tested the same way and compared against the previous build before the page is updated. Older files are only kept available when there is a genuine reason, such as an older device that runs better on the earlier build.
